Multiple perspectives: research, classification, digitization, analysis and public access to the archives of Walter Leblanc (1958-1970)
We are honored to announce that the Fondation Walter & Nicole Leblanc has been selected to receive support from the Flemish government to launch the project ‘Meervoudige perspectieven: onderzoek, classificatie, digitalisering, analyse en publieke ontsluiting van de archieven van Walter Leblanc (1958-1970)’ [Multiple perspectives: research, classification, digitization, analysis and public access to the archives of Walter Leblanc (1958-1970)], as part of the pilot projects for artists’ legacies.
We will have the privilege of collaborating with a group of experts from the Centrum Kunstarchieven Vlaanderen (CKV) and the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen (KASKA) to process, digitize and preserve this still unexplored material.
This ambitious project joins the Fondation’s core objective to activate Leblanc's archive as a catalyst for initiating new discourses on his work, its historical significance and contemporary relevance.
